1. A close view of the finished poster: dots of blue, orange and black ink on cream paper.

    10–11 July 2027 · Hollergate Street · Manchester

    Hollergate

Two days, three stages and eighteen acts in an old works yard. A fictional weekend, printed in three inks.

  2. A squeegee drags a bead of orange ink across the mesh of a screen over a blank sheet.

    First pass · fluorescent orange

    The pull

One drag of the squeegee pushes the ink through the open mesh. The gate is on the sheet.

  3. The poster on the print bed under a work lamp, the blue and black inks in register with the bill.

Second pass · blue and black

    In register

Blue and black land together. The marks close up, and the bill is there: three stages, eighteen acts.

  4. The shop in ultraviolet light, the orange ink glowing on the poster above the bench.

    Saturday night · Coil

    Lights out

When the last headliner walks on, the yard goes dark and the posters glow.

  5. The poster pasted to wet brick under a street lamp, among older torn bills.

    A fictional weekend

    On the wall

Pasted up on Hollergate Street the week before, still wet when the rain comes.

  6. A fresh sheet on the bed, printed with the visitor's own weekend.
